Como Town and Zoo

Last weekend we went with Kim, Sean, Brayden, Nolan and Evy to Como Zoo and Como Town. Jason went on his first two rides and had a great time with his cousins!

Trip on the Mississippi!

We had a fun date this past Monday. We went on a Mississippi cruise. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and we enjoyed going through the lock by St. Anthony falls and learning a little history about downtown Minneapolis. Unfortunately we did not make it all the way to New Orleans. The boat turned around before we even got to the 35W bridge. Maybe next time...

Madden's

Mom's 60th Riverboat Birthday!

We all surprised Mom on a Riverboat Jazz Cruise on the St. Croix this weekend! We had TONS of fun! Dad made Kathy's Krew buttons and the arrangements (thanks Dad!)...the Rekow's made a funny candy board/gift...all the cousins had fun and behaved well...Jason LOVED the band and they called him Dinosaur-Man because of his PJs. And we also got the first photos with all M&Ds grandkids since Evy was born. What a fun (and gorgeous!) night!

On Sunday, Amy's cousin Mary Jo invited us over for lunch. We had a great time! Mary Jo owns both an antique rocking chair and an old bike that we used to take some fun pictures of Jason.
