Santa 2010

Well, we had to try on two different occasions, but Jason did end up chatting with Santa and sitting on his lap for a picture. He asked for a "choo choo train." Santa also gave him a candy cane and a pair of those cool "Christmas lights glasses" where the bulbs all look like snowmen when you look through them. Jason thinks they are pretty awesome! He also devoured the candy cane! :-)

Getting ready for Christmas...

First Snow!

The first big snow of the season today. The snow was very HEAVY and WET, which was great for making a snowman...







And NOT so great for our tree! Both of these huge branches broke off because of the weight of the snow...

Trick or Treat!

Our little skunk had a great time trick-or-treating tonight!





When we got home, we dumped out all of his treats out onto the kitchen table and told him he could pick one to eat...



He picked a tootsie roll! By far the smallest candy in the bunch. I wonder if we will ever get away with giving him only one small piece of candy after trick-or-treating again...

You're never too old for Halloween...

We went to a Halloween party at Michelle and Bev's the other night. We had fun dressing up as Mary Poppins and Bert the Chimney Sweep. It was a great excuse to have a dirt on my face and practice me Cockney accent. 'Appy 'Alloween govenah!

Another big change this summer...

We finally decided it was time for the 1970's countertop in our main bath to go away. We got a new countertop, mirror, medicine cabinet and shower curtain... along with fresh non-orange paint. Check it out.

Kelly's Grandparents like to get the whole family together at Madden's every summer, and we always have a fabulous time.

Jason's 2nd Birthday

Have we really not updated this blog since July? Where has the summer gone?

Missed a few big things along the way, so I am going to paste in a few pics here. Jason's second birthday was lots of fun. He had a Mickey Mouse themed party and a lot of wonderful guests!





He received a bunch of fun toys that he loves a ton! Mommy and Mama gave him a trike. He got very excited when he opened it, but truly he doesn't really like it yet. Maybe next summer!
